Q. What is an intimacy coach?

A. Intimacy coaching creates a space for positive and accurate information about love, relationships, intimacy, and sexuality. It can be a place where you learn about yourself and your partner, your desires, and your body without judgment or shame while empowering you to take control of your journey and reach your desired outcomes.

Q. Are you a therapist?

A. No. Coaching is different than therapy. Coaching is goal-driven, and uniquely tailored to the specific and individual needs of each client. The goal of coaching is to communicate a clear vision, backed by a definite plan to assist the client’s personal power and positive growth. Find out more about my academic qualifications.

Q. What can I expect from a session?

A. This Journey will be emotional but will empower you to reach your goals. It will push and challenge you. You can expect deep conversations, guided imagery, mindfulness, exploration, and education. You can expect guidance, collaboration, validation, inspiration, teaching, and a recognition of your whole self.

During sessions, conducted either individually or as couples, we determine what issue you want to focus on and what your ideal outcome will be for a successful coaching experience. Sessions are an active engagement between the coach and the client. You will be expected to come with an open mind and a willingness to work towards your goals. All sessions are performed via Zoom.

Q. Am I the only one with this concern?

A. No. Whatever your concern, I can assure you that you are not alone. Intimate concerns are not unusual and, by seeking help from a coach, you are ultimately making an investment in yourself and your relationships. There is no concern or question that is too embarrassing to talk about.

Q. Do I need to have a partner to benefit from intimacy coaching?

A. No, intimacy is not just sex and does not require a partner. Society puts a lot of emphasis on intimacy as sexual activity.  However, Intimacy is also about having a deep understanding of yourself. Individual intimacy coaching offers skills, confidence, and helps build a foundation for self-discovery.

Q. Do you work with insurance?

A. Coaching services are not billable to insurance.
